The cleaning recommendation varies depending on the model and kind of residue needing to be cleaned off.

Dust the surface, taking care to remove any loose particles.
Clean stains with a damp soft cloth or sponge and warm soapy water, making sure to not wet excessively.

Maintenance
To prolong the life span of the chair, there are a few routines that's good to set in place.
- Remove dust from the chair with a vacuum or lint roller, and take care of any stains right away as they happen.
- Keep cats and other clawed animals from using it as a scratch board.
- You can use a damp cloth to clean off the arm rests.
- Every now and then, use the hex key to make sure the screws under the seat are tight. Over time, with tension from moving while seated, screws sometimes loosen up a bit.
